KU (2014) – Horror Short Film by Tony Morales
KU is the first horror short film written and directed by Tony Morales, released in 2014 and marking the beginning of his career in fantastic and horror cinema.
The short film had its World Premiere at Suspiria Fest (Spain), launching Tony Morales’ journey through both the national and international festival circuit dedicated to fantastic and horror cinema.
Following its premiere, KU was selected at several genre festivals in Spain and internationally, including notable specialized events such as Fancine – Málaga University International Fantastic Film Festival, Fantastic Zagreb Film Festival, Horrorant Film Festival “Fright Nights”, Cartaxo International Fantastic and Horror Film Festival, and the Fantastic Film Festival of Torremolinos.
With KU, Tony Morales took his first steps as a director within the genre that would go on to define much of his career, already developing some of the elements that would become recurring features of his filmmaking: unsettling atmospheres, suspense, and a distinctive approach to horror.
